Hello Bagstock Friends,
Can you believe we are already halfway through March? These past few months have gone by so fast. I hope you have all been doing well and sewing up lots of beautiful bags.
Speaking of bags, I have a brand new pattern that I’d like to share with you, and I’m very excited about this one. This bag is called the Blossom Crossbody Bag, and it is a perfect on-the-go bag that is big enough to hold all your essentials. There’s a Special release price until - March 19th, 2022-11.59 PM EST

This is a different construction from what you’re used to with my patterns because I’ve decided to have this bag be finished with binding. This is the first time I have ever used binding on a bag. If you’re not a huge fan of binding, please don’t avoid making this bag, because I walk you through all the steps of attaching the binding. Once you get the hang of it, it really is very easy and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
Some of the other features of this bag are that it has a front flap pocket which is big enough for a phone, back zipper pocket (my 6.5" phone fits in both these pockets) and inside there is a slip pocket on one side of the bag and on the other side there are three credit card slots. With all these pockets, you’re sure to stay organized.
Of course there is the crossbody strap, which you can adjust to wear it as a shoulder bag too, if you prefer. You can use the optional strap end hardware or finish your strap so there are no raw edges, the choice is yours.
Use any combination of materials to create a bag that shows off your personality. Use dressy fabrics, and this can make a great night out or special occasion bag. Once you’re done making your bag, proudly take your bag out to show it off to the world!
The pattern has detailed instructions with photos to help you with each step. Printable pattern pieces are included for every pattern piece (except Crossbody Strap).
If you're a visual learner, there is a video tutorial by Kassiah of Siah Swag. She walks you through all the steps of making the bag.

am, grab your supplies and have fun making it.
