The Felicity Tote is a perfect everyday bag, and it even makes a perfect work bag. It is a rectangular-shaped bag that is very spacious. This bag requires minimal hardware, which is always a bonus. There's only zippers, purse feet, twist-lock / magnetic snap, a metal zipper end, and rivets. You can omit the purse feet, making it even less hardware.

The front of the bag features a slip pocket with the zipper pocket on the front of it, and it all closes with a flap. Keep your cell phone, keys, or other smaller items safely inside these pockets.

If you travel, the back of the bag will surely make you happy because it has a Trolly Sleeve.

A zipper pocket on the Trolly Sleeve is perfect for slipping any important paperwork into. If you don’t want the Trolly Sleeve, there is an option for turning it into a slip pocket.

You can keep all your belongings organized inside the bag with the slip pocket, zipper pocket, and divider pocket. The Divided Zipper Pocket is perfect for those smaller devices, such as a tablet or e-reader. The Divider pocket is attached to the sides.

Use any combination of materials to create a bag that shows off your personality. Once you’re done making your bag, proudly take your bag out to show it off to the world!

The pattern has detailed instructions with photos to help you with each step. Printable pattern pieces are included for every pattern piece (except Handles). However, if you prefer a ruler and rotary cutter to cut out squares and rectangles, the pages to omit when printing are listed in the pattern.

The pattern has two options to finish it. You can turn the bag right sides out through an opening in the pocket or use the drop-in lining method. Both methods are given in detail in the instructions, helping make this bag easier for you to complete.

If you're a visual learner, there is a video tutorial by Michelle Graham of mgrahamsews. She walks you through all the steps of making the bag.
