The Eira Tote (new PDF pattern)

Posted by Namrata Shroff on

Hello Bagstock Designs Friends,

Another new year is upon us. Last year seemed to just fly by, but not without many great memories and of course many new patterns from me. Did you have a favorite pattern from me last year?  Did you set goals for yourself for this year? I'm hoping to bring you more patterns you'll enjoy making and love.

Speaking of patterns, I have my first one of 2023 for you. It's called the Eira (Eye-ra) Tote. As the name states it's a tote, so it's a bigger bag.

There’s a Special release price until - February 4th, 2023-11.59 PM EST

The front and back are excellent for featuring a design or print.  You'll fit everything you need inside this bag and carry it all around in style. You can dress this up or make it very casual. You could even make this to use for a beach bag. The best part about this pattern is, it requires minimal hardware. You just need zippers and rivets then the purse feet are optional.

The pattern has detailed instructions with photos to help you with each step. Printable pattern pieces are included for every pattern piece (except Handles). However, if you prefer a ruler and rotary cutter to cut out squares and rectangles, the pages to omit when printing are listed in the pattern.

If you're a visual learner, there is a video tutorial by Michelle Graham of mgrahamsews. She walks you through all the steps of making the bag.

Now all you need to do is pick out your supplies and get ready to have some fun! What will you make yours to be used for? Will you make it for yourself or someone else?  Oh, and if you need some inspiration, please check out my tester’s photos HERE. They all did a fantastic job and made beautiful Eiras!
