Materials

  •  1/3 yard 44" quilting weight exterior fabric
  •   2/3 yard 44" woven or vinyl/cork contrasting fabric
  •   1/2 yard 44" quilting weight lining fabric
  •    3 yards fusible woven interfacing - 20" wide (Pellon SF-101       Shapeflex)(1-1/2 yards if using 45" wide) 
  •  3/4 yard fusible stabilizer - 20" wide (Decovil Light/ Fusible Fleece -  Pellon Thermolam plus TP971)
  •  One 14" #4.5 / #5 zipper – (Main zipper closure) Only if making with a zipper closure
  • One 9” #4.5 / #5 zipper (Interior zipper pocket) 
  • One twist-lock/flip-lock (For flap) Note - You can also use a magnetic snap.
  • Two strap connectors/Bridge buckle bag strap hook/Arch bridge buckle (You won’t need these if making your own connectors)
  • Two 1" swivel hooks
  • One 1" slider
  • Optional - Two - 1" strap end caps  (Only if using vinyl/cork)
  • Two 1" D-rings (Only if making your own connectors) Note - You can also use 3/4" hardware.
  • Optional - Two double cap rivets (Six if making your own connectors) – post size 8mm (10mm if using thicker fabrics) Note - You can also use Chicago Screws.
  • One zipper end
